This role will provide support to the Project Manager in the preparation and evaluation of all issues relating to commercial matters of the Site Mining Operations while ensuring a safe professional environment is maintained, which includes: budget make up and cost control, create yearly budget and monthly forecasts, implement & maintain cost control system on daily basis, provide financial reporting, and prepare, manage and evaluate project monthly contact valuations; evaluate and manage the data collecting and correlation of production data, survey data to ensure accuracy of the numbers for monthly progress; valuate long term mine planning and reserve in accordance with the actual operations; create and manage pricing and re-pricing for Manager review and approval; evaluate and change in scope of the work and the financial impact onto established budgets and targets.

Requirements for this position are:

Tertiary qualification in mining, civil or quantity surveying with a work background biased towards commercial reporting and outcomes; a minimum of 3 years experience in a mining project role, preferably experience in quantity and financial modelling appropriate to task requirements; deep knowledge of mining principles, mine design concepts & operations; good written and verbal English; attention to detail and ability to discreen relevant facts easily.
